Family Law Information Centre (FLIC)
The Family Law Information Centre has Advice Lawyers who provide low income clients with free assistance and information on family law issues. You will receive assistance to prepare/review documents and obtain legal advice on family law matters.

Above is the dial in information for the Friday FLIC where persons can attend virtual FLIC. At this time, FLIC services do not have designated time slots for in person assistance, and as such, parties need to reach out for assistance via telephone or email for service. Duty Counsel will make themselves available by attending all first appearance (Rule 39) dates going forward, which will provide parties an opportunity to speak with duty counsel in a break out room, as the first appearance is evolving from teleconference to that of videoconference through zoom court.

Northumberland Legal Centre
The Northumberland Legal Centre is a legal clinic that provides free and confidential legal advice and help to the residents of Northumberland County. This centre is funded by Legal Aid Ontario and there is no charge for their legal services. Clients may be asked to pay back any out-of-pocket expenses incurred in their file. Self-help guidance and referrals to other sources of assistance will be provided.
